Capofaro Malvasia & Resort Salina - Isole Eolie

The Capofaro Malvasia & Resort is a superb seaside residence located on the Aeolian island of Salina. The Tasca D'Almerita family, were inspired by a love of the sea, passed down through numerous generations, to create this stylish 18 bedroom resort between the picturesque coastal villages of Malfa and Santa Marina with views of the lighthouse or "faro" from which the resort takes its name.

In the grounds of a 6 hectare estate, the hotel was built according to the traditional architectural style of this enchanting Sicilian island. The resort has an unmistakably Mediterranean character with its cluster of flat roofed apartments all with white stucco walls and graceful columned terraces shaded by "cannizzi", the cane mats woven by local artisans.

Each of the 13 rooms and 5 junior suites of the Capofaro Malvasia & Resort has views over the vineyards where the grapes for the wonderfully fragrant and aromatic Malvasia wine are cultivated, and on towards the sea and the islands of Panarea and Stromboli.

Facilities at the resort include a bar, restaurant, solarium, fresh water swimming pool and tennis courts. The restaurant gives guests the opportunity to savor the finest island delicacies accompanied by the romantic melodies of soft background music and the star specked sky.
