Marsala is sited on Capo Boeo, the far tip of Sicily, looking out over the water towards the Egadi Islands and Tunisia. It is the legendary landing point of Giuseppe Garibaldi's "thousand men". Marsala has been awarded the Blue Flag for its marvelously clean water and tourist harbor.
